These ones stem from Dresden-Germany… and believe it or not, but they where used by the Volkwagen AG of all things. Yes the same Company known for Dieselgate and Auto Manufacturing used Trams for parts Delivery within Dresden.

Until 2020 they did. Then their use was simply discontinued for lack of a need for them. Still pretty interesting

    Huh. I wonder why you would decide on using trams instead of trains for cargo. Also, according too the wiki on trams, cargo hearses were a thing too and were kind of common.

      I’d imagine if you have a warehouse within a city but far from a train railway, tho you’d probably need to move a lot of cargo for it to be worth using over just a truck
