    Wow… If even Best Buy figured out those repair programs are designed to appease the regulators who ask for the right to repair but never actually be used, it should tell you how unappealing they are.

    I had a Samsung for the past 4 years and TIL best buy had a Samsung repair program

    This partnership seemed barely functional to me anyway, doubt much will be lost. I used their repair when my Fold 3 screen cracked, it took bestbuy 7 months to get parts and they told me it would be an hour to do the work. I waited in the store for nearly 5 hours before they finally gave it back to me. Then it started cracking again less than 6 months later, and bestbuy told me I’d be on the list for when they got the next set of parts. I sold and replaced the phone before those parts were available again.
