I really hope D4 gets fun. D3 was boring as hell until the expansion. D2, once it got LoD, became a juggernaut and a classic.
I don’t know what it is about D4, but it just doesn’t capture me.
But I’m rooting for it to get good.
Imho, Diablo 2 was a complete banger the whole time. Playing D2R is taking me back to my senior year of high school.
Diablo 3 went from zero to hero with Reaper of Souls. I desperately want D4 to follow that same development path, but the Blizzard of old is long dead, and its rotting, zombified corpse has lost most of what made it great in life.
Still keeping my metaphorical fingers crossed, though, and hoping for a miracle.
