I hear this criticism all the time, but I’ve never seen it happen in 5 companies I’ve worked for so far. Usually there’s an understanding that estimates are wild guessing, and things are planned using dependencies rather than timeliness.

Imagine phones having stupid logic like printers - no you can’t make a call, your smell cartridge is empty
Those asmr mukbang videos. I can’t stand asmr sounds in general, eating makes it worse
I wouldn’t say he’s a source of information at all. His videos are opinion pieces. As far as I’ve noticed he rarely gives any hard numbers, or claims to know things outside of the mainstream news.
It doesn’t hurt you so don’t worry about it
Eh, not so sure. Beauty standards propagate, and pressure to conform to those standards is real.
That’s just how fashion works. In this case fashion requires disabling a functional part of your body. It’s at least a bit icky.
I hate how it’s framed as a bad thing. Intentional or not, real estate prices falling is a good thing.
I used to be what Americans call libertarian. Capitalism and free market ftw. I thought it would lead to a freer society.
At some point I understood that the consequences of capitalism lead away from what is actually my real goal - maximizing the liberty of each individual. If someone is afraid if they can afford food and housing they can’t really be free.
Now I support certain types of socialist policies with the same goal.
Have an existental crisis. I’m serious. But have a low level one, a high level will paralize you.
Move away from parents home if you haven’t already. Preferably to live alone. The feeling of having a whole place to yourself is amazing.
The shutdown of r/2balkan4you. Greatest achievement of the Balkans in decades lost because of one dumb admin
Same dress code, standards and rules absolutely - regardless if competition is split or not.
Same competition definitely for some sports - chess and shooting come to mind.
More physical sports - I’m undecided there. I’d support everyone competing together if for example weight categories are introduced. You don’t want people of widely different physical build competing together, it’s not fun either to watch or play.
Currently I have WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Signal, Viber, a Matrix client (Fluffy), Discord, Slack, SMS, email.
I try to use Signal whenever I can, but convincing people to install yet another messaging app is hard. I don’t see the situation getting better, none of the major players is close to going out of business.

I’d say this is exactly where the LLMs problems with it comes from. For most of us outside of the US and even a lot of people there, it’s exactly that - a caricature of a lower class black person. However for many people it’s a legit dialect of English they speak every day.
Usually not :) But I prefer to use to use emojis anyway 🤷 🫴 It just feels like progress, no more ascii workarounds ⬆️

Important note: just because at some point you felt attraction to people of opposite sex, doesn’t automatically disqualify you from LGBTQ
I’m an immigrant, so I guess by definition I’m not an average person in the country however you look at it
It’s all about staying the ruling class. There’s always people unhappy with the state of things, the trick is catching them early before any revolutionary movement gains strength.
I’m not doing an essay but I’m leaving you with the most successful example of the “surveillance state” in history, and it didn’t even need any modern technology:
It might also have to do with specialized vs general models. Copilot is good at generating code but ask it to write prose text and it fails completely. In contrast ChatGPT is awful at code but handles human readable text decently.
I’ve taken to calling myself “asexual”. While not technically true, since I feel the desire, at least this way people don’t try to pressure me into interactions I’m uncomfortable with.
