As a parent, we still do laundry once per week. Usually 2-3 loads. OP is insane for doing daily laundry…it’s a huge waste of water

There are five people in my house. Each generates one full load of laundry every week or so. That’s two sets of PJs, four pairs of pants, seven tops, seven pairs each of underwear and socks, and a bath towel.

Add in bed linens, kitchen towels, and throw rugs, and 6-7 loads a week is not excessive. I don’t do laundry every day; I prefer to do a few loads at a time twice a week. But with a high-efficiency washer it’s not even that much water, and they are all full loads so it’s not “wasted” anyway.

            Y’all aren’t poor enough.

That needs to be 1-2 pairs of pants a week. 1 towel a week. 5 shirts a week. 14 socks, 3 underwear. You never do beds until you see clear oil stains.

Toddlers? Unless they’re clearly dirty, they’re clean lol.

I can’t tell if this comment is serious or not because there’s a mix of stuff in it, but I’ve gotta ask: only 3 underwear??

Jeans are actually only supposed to be washed that often. They did say pants though, which could be very different. Especially if they’re wearing jeggings riding up their ass so hard that it’s doing half their wiping.

I’ve been there, I get it, but yeah, I’m not that broke anymore. My kids need clean uniforms for school and I need a clean uniform for work.

If it’s just you، no worries, but if you have two or three kids it’s not unreasonable.
