At least 11 people, including children, have been killed in an Israeli attack on the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, it has been reported.

The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the strike hit a playground frequently visited by displaced children.

Most of those killed were children, the news agency reported with several people also wounded in the attack

One eyewitness described the situation as a “horrific scene of children torn apart”.

The latest data from Unicef said that one child in Gaza is killed or injured every 10 minutes and further said that at least 70 children are injured every day during the Israeli bombardment.

Don’t worry the US will “look into it” and express “concern” before repeating how ironclad their support for Israel is.

It’s incredible that leaders like Biden can still back Israel after actions like this.

The United States cannot turn its back on its allies so easily. It takes decades to build strong alliances.

So it’s not a good example? What does it say to other allies when we drop one? Israel was attacked. We should stand by them. Certainly I am not supportive of what is happening in Gaza. I blame Bibi, not Biden.

What does it say to other allies when we drop one?

Probably something like “bombing children is bad” or “don’t commit genocide”

Israel is only a detriment to the US.

Supporting Israel the main reason for the 9/11 attacks, which cost the US trillions of dollars.

Hamas had nothing to do with israel slaughtering these children.

Unless we take the IDF suggestion that all these kids were “Hamas operatives”.

Hamas has a 3% child casualty rate on October 7 (including all israeli friendly fire)

Israel has a 40% child casualty rate since October 7

It would be great if the Hamas child casualty was even lower but one of these is clearly not like the other.

I in no way deny or defend the patently obvious genocide being committed by Israel.

But I refuse to ignore the slaughter committed by HAMAS.

Much like the IRA, a just cause does not justify any means. Omagh was wrong. The 7th of October was wrong. Murderes of innocents and children.

Acknowledgement of that didn’t lessen the murder and brutality of the UK or Israel. State sanctioned oppression, murder and genocide.

              Both are wrong. Downvote away.

Only tankies defend crimes against innocent civilians based on them being citizens of a stronger country

Those aren’t swings those are kinematic ballistic launchers! Super high tech made to look like children swinging. Those tubes? Those aren’t slides. They’re nuclear missile silos! That sand… Yeah that’s just sand, but it’s HAMAS sand and it’s all Bidens fault for selling high grade military sand to Israel! GeNoCiDe JoE!

It blows my mind that there are people on here that are cool with doing an airstrike on a playground full of orphans. Many (most?) of which already had to witness the same happening to their parents.

I’m sorry but there is zero justification for that. None. Your argument is invalid.

Anyone remember that one Palestinian tv character Farfour the mouse?

And people made fun of him for being a Mickey Mouse ripoff Hamas propaganda character designed to incite hatred.

In episode 105 (aired June 22, 2007), Farfour is beaten to death during an interrogation by an Israeli who is trying to acquire the key and title to “Tel al-Rabi”, a fictional Palestinian settlement which was occupied by Israelis and renamed to Tel Aviv.

Seems pretty tame in comparison to getting orbitally nuked on a god damn playground.
