I voted for Joe Biden in 2020.  I was excited about the promise of a moderate and a unifier; the thought of another 4 years of Donald Trump’s chaotic presidency was a non-starter for me.

    Ugh. So Biden is old, SFW? People that say they are “tired” of both candidates tend to be very low-info and have no fucking idea what they are talking about, and only parrot op-eds like this.

    The choice for voters is either give Biden another 4 years or this country is quite possibly over with. Those are the stark terms. Giving people Ronald McDonald and his merry band of fascists any power is wildly dangerous. To pretend that outcome is on par with Biden supposedly being “unfit for office” is incredibly disingenuous.

        Well, this sub is about providing a way to comment on DP’s articles, since they took away comments. They provide no direct way to provide feedback.

        Also - I think people on Lemmy tend to understand there is a lot of both-siderist stuff in the wild, and this is another example of that.

      Change the title so that it doesn’t repeat the article’s main point

      Many people will just read the title and internalize that opinion. It goes against what you want to do.
