    You’re right, this ageism is stupid. Common lisp is probably its contemporary, yet is great. Cobol does seem like a nightmare though.

      Cobol does seem like a nightmare though.

      To me it seems… boring AF to learn, and i think the real challenges are not the language itself bu the environments it’s deployed in.

      Still on my to do list.
