It’s bittersweet, but I love seeing scabby the rat. Shellac just released their last album (RIP Steve) and it has a track Scabby the Rat. Ignoring the working class is bs
I think you are right, especially how it frames the stark contrast the Biden we have now versus the Biden we had a year ago.
Biden a year ago: energized, out in the streets, able to take a mic and at least passably speak, on the right side of historical things.
Biden today: can’t remember what the topic of a sentence is by the time he gets to the end, on the wrong side of history.
What a difference a year makes. But thats sun-setting for the elderly members of the human species. We had a geriatric grandparent who, I shit you not, was still felling cedars and hand slabbing planks for benches 6 months before he died. Within 3 months he couldn’t remember his kids names, and required live in care. Then poof, he was gone. He went from full control and agency to literally barely knowing who he was in less than half a year.
People need to remember.
Biden is a right-leaning, corporate Democrat. A photo op doesn’t change that. Remember when trump held a bible in front of a church?
After tear gassing the clergy who were hanging out water to protesters to get them out of the way? Yes we all remember that very equivalent situation.
Yes, it is very equivalent. Biden has actively harmed the union with his policies.
Those situations are extremely different… context is very important…which is why photo ops are BS
Ignoring strikes is bs

The people need to because biden won’t.
