Thankfully I wasn’t following this feed earlier. I didn’t feel the nerves many of you seem to have been feeling. I never thought we looked like getting beaten today. Yeah we sat to deep after we scored but we always seemed to have and answer to any Spurs attacks and Rays had everything covered. Solid mature performance despite missing some key players.
I thought we sat not deep enough after we scored, lol. Spurs had quite a few attacks even though we had answers, that gave me some worry.
I was nervous before the game started. After that, I wasn’t feeling nervous until maybe the final 15 minutes (including extra time). I was semi-confident when the subs came on too since I felt fresh legs could have made an impact and they almost nearly did.
Stonewall handball
prolly too close range.
how much spurs praise do I have to hear on this fucking commentary.
@Astrealix I’ve got the Spanish language broadcast so I’m missing that. 😂
yo no hablo español
@Astrealix Me neither. That’s what makes it so wonderful. Just watching the match and listening for the Gunners players names.
Why does Martinelli never square it to Saka? :/
He’s low on confidence so he wants the goal to get back into form. I get it but it’s very frustrating.
Why are the Spuds singing When the Saints go Marching in? Lol I think they’re at the wrong stadium
They’ve been singing that for years and I’ve never understood why. Especially now with So’ton back.
Do they not say “spurs” instead of “saints?”
even more stupid then, no? just make up your own song, we’ve been doing it for years.
I kinda feel like we’re throwing stones in a glass house when every time our German striker in our London club scores, we sing a rip off of This Time for Africa
Ok but there’s a massive difference between making a chant with the same tune but half the lyrics are different and literally changing one word from the same song sung by a different club.
