Apparently, patents can be applied retroactively back to their filing date. So, depending on if they applied before palworld came out, it might not be enforceable. I’m not that hopeful since they probably wouldn’t even try if it wasn’t. But who knows. It is nintendo, so maybe they are just bullying them.
