1:43 - “Most of the people killed on October 7th were ordered to be killed by Israel.”
That is blatant misinformation. A fraction, yes, under orders? No.
See:
“Hannibal at Erez, dispatch a Zik attack drone,” came the command on October 7.
Sounds like a direct order to me.
Ill give you that I’ve no idea what percentage did what, but the Hannibal Directive was ordered on Oct 7th.
“It said, according to the assessment, the gunmen had no prior information about the festival which was held close to the Kibbutz Re’im, near the borders with Gaza.”
+
“The newspaper said that “when they realised that, some of them decided to use artillery shells against the terrorists independently, without getting permission from their superiors.””
As many as 75 of the destroyed cars apparently were destroyed by Israel. A hyperbole, maybe, outright false, maybe not so much.
Most killed by israel is likely an exaggeration. But certainly a lot. From the recent ABC news article:
This was a mass Hannibal. It was tons and tons of openings in the fence, and thousands of people in every type of vehicle, some with hostages and some without," Colonel Erez said.
Air force pilots described to Yedioth Ahronot newspaper the firing of “tremendous” amounts of ammunition on October 7 at people attempting to cross the border between Gaza and Israel.
"Twenty-eight fighter helicopters shot over the course of the day all of the ammunition in their bellies, in renewed runs to rearm. We are talking about hundreds of 30-millimetre cannon mortars and Hellfire missiles," reporter Yoav Zeitoun said.
An Apache helicopter carries around1300 rounds in munition. So 28*1300 shots and that multiple times. Israel has not released friendly fire data 11 months after so you can bet things are very fishy.
