Hi, wonderful r/Ukraine community!

It’s $2 Tuesday. More importantly, it’s Defenders Day: a holiday honoring those who protect Ukraine and those who fell doing it.

There is no better way to honor the defenders of Ukraine than by supporting them in their fight. This $2 Tuesday, we’ve gathered some initiatives from our own community members. All of them are doing good, honest, important work for Ukraine. Please consider sending a donation to one of them.

Jester

Our very own top mod u/jesterboyd is collecting for electronic countermeasure****s for the 72nd. He has a lengthy list of ways to donate, which are in the pinned comment on his post.

Kilderov

He hasn’t posted about it here yet, but u/kilderov is collecting for a REB (drone jammer) for the 4th Separate Tank Brigade.

Protect A Volunteer

One of PAV’s main functions is transporting soldiers to and from Ukraine, which they’ve traditionally done through airline mile donors to soldiers who need flights. They need to refill their mileage coffers so they can continue getting defenders to Ukraine, which you can do by donating miles or, as of today, donating money.

See their post for details.

Ukraine Front Line

u/UFL_Robin is amassing supplies for another delivery run at the end of October. As always, she has requests for huge amounts of tacmed for the various units UFL supports. They’ve also partnered with Protect A Volunteer to restock the Laser Kiwis’ medical supplies, and are teaming up with Renegade Relief Runners to supply armor to some defenders.

To help with general requests like tacmed (“there are SO. MANY”, she says):

To the rest of our Verified volunteers and charities: please feel free to mention your own fundraisers in the comments!

To all of you who choose to donate, today or any other day: thank you!
