Zig vs Rust. Which one is going to be future?

I think about pros and cons and what to choose for the second (modern) language in addition to C.

      Rust in Linux lead retires

      “I was expecting [Rust] updates to be faster, but part of the problem is that old-time kernel developers are used to C and don’t know Rust,” Torvalds said. “They’re not exactly excited about having to learn a new language that is, in some respects, very different.         the notoriously conservative Torvalds allowing Rust where C++ has been banned is worth crowing about, because he knows Rust is great, mate. nobody cares about a bunch of non-Rust coders not wanting to use Rust in the beta version of the kernel toochain
