      When there’s fuzzy links to every dictatorship in existence plus glowing reviews of dictators from the past, it’s hard to isolate that as “clear link to Russia.”

      What they were looking for was evidence that Russia was pulling Trump’s strings; it’s looking now more like it was Trump trying to cozy up to someone he admired and getting very little in return other than amusement.

        No there are many direct links. Seth Abramson filtered all the news stories about trump’s russia ties into clear lines with full citations for his “Proof” series and it’s damning. The NYT (and the FBI) only ran cover for him, for what reasons we can only speculate.
