    if you worked at McDonald’s and said “I won’t put the fries in the bag if I don’t feel like it” you would be fired in an instant.

    but if you’re willing to overthrow democracy, hmmm idk maybe please do your job? would you do it if we asked nicely? pwetty pwease?

    Just like the marriage license deniers. These people are hostile to the roles they’ve been put in. Get em out of there.

      If I just flat out refused to do my job, I would be immediately fired and replaced. Same rules apply here.

        Same rules SHOULD apply here, but absolutely do not.

        When you build the rule of law within your institutions around the honor system, then those without honor will invariably monopolize the system.
