It was a great weekend for intellectual doomscrolling, to say nothing of galloping paranoia. First, The New York Times comes out with a poll that shows the president is trailing Fulton County (Ga.) Inmate No. PO1135809 in all the major battleground states.
I’d be surprised if the average voter cared that significantly about those foreign wars.
I think people usually blame the president for local issues in their life, like interest rates, inflation, and rising prices of EVERYTHING, even if those issues aren’t under the president’s control.
