Ethernet is Still Going Strong After 50 Years::The technology has become the standard LAN worldwide

    Hmmmm. I’m not sure. I just installed 10g Ethernet and it may be my last copper network.

    It works, (netgear hardware gave me issues so it was replaced with a different brand) but I have SFP+ adapters everywhere. Its great for durability, device compatibility and that satisfying snap, but for a homelab or computer room, I wish I dipped my toes in fiber. Consumer tech is way behind the times when you can pick up discarded 50g hardware off eBay.
