Implementing his offense; he’s abandoned trying to implement his .5 offense and has adapted a new offense; current offense gives too much responsibility to point guards in crunch time which is amongst our weakest position on the team (Schroeder and Flynn); doesn’t know how to call time outs to stop opponent runs, plays coming out of time outs are poor more than half the time; he has shown little ability to make in-game adjustments; the team starts poorly in 1st quarter leading to 10+point deficits every game; his defense doesn’t make good use of the length on our team and the defensive players we have; our defense with largely the same players after the trade for our center Poeltl last year which was ranked 10th in the league which has now dropped to 23rd; his rotations are poor. He finally showed some zone defense only this past month - under Nurse we used to run zone from time to time so this roster knows how to run a zone D well. Heck Nurse made zone fashionable in the NBA again. The player who’s been his most ardent fan publicly (Gary Trent Jr) is performing worse than in any of his prior years with Raptors.
