Attorney Client Privilege doesn’t cover criminal activity.
to be clear, it does cover the client explaining his crimes to the lawyer in the normal course of obtaining legal advice and services, whatever you say can’t be compelled.
When you and the lawyer are actually engaging in criminal activity of some kind there’s no privilege though, it goes out the window. Otherwise all criminals would get junior law degrees to have those protections!
