I’m not sure this will bring prices down
I’m not sure this will bring prices down
Maybe I am underestimating the amount of people buying seasons of TV shows on PlayStation, but this seems like a lot of PR pain for very little potential upside.
We didn’t discuss politics and everyone had a nice time.
Some people seem to think anything is fine if it’s for social media. An Apple genius was fired recently for making ‘I work at Apple ’ tech tip Tik Toks and she seemed totally baffled as to why that might be a problem.
Tackling Tik Tok, the biggest Chinese propaganda machine? I sleep.
Investigating the cancellation of a show that nobody watched? Real shit!
lol. Nah, someone told me not to make my username Tim.
If you really want to get serious about Chinese interference, this is a discouraging sign. An example of doing the bare minimum for the lowest of stakes.
Maybe start with Tik Tok and go from there?
I get that China interference is a big deal, but actually dealing with it means getting serious and banning Tik Tok to start.
This is the smallest of potatoes. An excuse to make noise without doing anything.
This would be a bigger deal if anyone had actually watched the first 2 seasons.
New info. Suspect is male, and has been moved to another county where they ‘could face charges’.
I don’t think Batman is very concerned with illegal police work.
Was he ever arrested? I’m talking about the police holding somebody against their will without saying who it is.
“We’ve arrested somebody, but haven’t charged them with anything, and you’re not allowed to know who it is.”
It doesn’t take a lot of imagination to see how that could be abused.
Why not? Shouldn’t we get to know the names of people arrested by the police? Should they be allowed to withhold that information from the public? Seems kind of police-state-y.
So…. Who was it?
They aren’t really predictive of the 2024 election, but they are shifting significantly in response to current events.
Polls are certainly not predictive this far out, but they are shifting significantly right now. And they don’t rule out a strong RFK run if more Dems decide to ditch Biden.
I gave a link to it up the thread. It’s the most recent Quinnipiac poll. If you want another rude awakening, look at the latest NYT/Senna poll.
It might not be so simple.
“In a warning sign for Democrats, Kennedy was the leading choice for young voters, aged 18-34, in the poll’s surveyed population — 38 percent of whom chose the environmental lawyer. From the same age group, 32 percent picked Biden and 27 percent went for Trump.”
Yes. I fear the law of unintended consequences here. Will this lead to more or fewer houses being built?
