  • I find it very confusing when german words are used to mean something different that their english counterparts.

So in english: free ≠ gratis ≠ libre fear ≠ Angst car ≈ Auto (i heard it used for a car with a automatic transmission and also a few years ago as a term for a selfdriving car)

But also the other way around In Swiss-German: Bus ≠ Car (First one being a trolleybus in a city, second one a bus that takes a schoolclass on a trip.)

I am aware that words like “gratis” or “auto” are not exclusive to german, I guess that gave me the downvotes.

  • I can do that!

To a degree at least, just got gratually better over the last few years without deliberate stretching or severing anything. Altho I mostly use it to get slime out of my throat instead of caughing. Now just tried it to get up to my nose, nothing there at the moment.

I guess I am almost at the “third stage” distance wise.

It helps to exhale quickly to get the meatflap out ontop of the thongue. (Second picture)

I’ve did research if one could choke on their own thongue several times, because I was worried that it would “fall down there” or get stuck or sth, like a dislocated jaw or a scrotum torsion or sth.

  • Tofu has all the essencial amino acids (the building blocks of proteins our bodies use to build new protines). Essencial meaning that they are the ones which our bodies cannot produce itself. Tofu has more protein per gram that all animal meats.

You should try it, if its well cooked (like in most asian places or vegetarian restaurants), it is very tasty. And you will probably get used to it like every taste anyways.

An now on a toilet break after trying to fix a permission problem with a local network NAS. I am so fed up with all the (u)mounting, users/groups, chmod/chown and so on, as I am now 3 hours in to it.

Yes, on windows its a trial and error with two ir three checkboxes, done in a few minutes or half an hour. The terminal-knowledge mentionned is definitely a big thing, even with modern distros like Linux Mint I am using right now
