Oh Hi-Rez you trash company. You ruined one of my favorite franchises of all time, not once, but twice with Tribes Ascend, and Tribes 3.

7DTD is fun, but The Fun Pimps have made some perplexing design decisions. Luckily there are a ton of great mods that all have unique spins. I prefer the Darkness Falls mod, it fixes a lot of the stupid design decisions of the original makers, and ramps the difficulty since vanilla 7DTD can be pretty easy after you get built up. Darkness Falls adds supernatural demons to the mix in the late game, and a ton of new mechanics, I absolutely love it.
The whole article is full of gross stuff if true. This part is ridiculous:
A 2022 story reported that a flight attendant on Musk’s private jet said he exposed himself and offered “to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage,”
Elon is such a weirdo.
Great video! I had no idea this even was a thing, thanks!
Marge is weapons grade stupid. Thinking back 20 years, the idea that we’d have people like her and Lauren B. holding elected office would have been unbelievable.
I wish I were surprised, but there have been multiple other instances were one of the justices should have recuse themselves from a certain court case, and didn’t. Why would he, there is no over sight, we can all sneer all we want at them, and they have no obligation to do anything but exactly what they want in their life time appointment.
Funny how it was structured as life time appointments to keep judges impartial, since they would last longer then any presidential administration. But instead we have biased, corrupt justices like Clarence for life instead with no recourse.
When social media got big and seemingly every parent out there needed to post publicly every single event/picture/milestone for their kids online, it felt weird. 20 years prior, no parent would willingly share personal information like that to strangers, but suddenly parents couldn’t help themselves.
It struck me that kids would have a very public accounting of their whole life, childhood and on, in a way that I didn’t, and it probably wouldn’t be a good thing.
That’s a wall of beef. It’s like the painter hadn’t ever seen a bull, but just had a vague description and extrapolated.
I thought that feature was related to the expensive for pay Copilot feature? The recall feature listed a huge amount of space required for it to work, something like 275 GB, SSD. There is no way that’ll just be a baked in feature in normal home Windows. Am I wrong Lemmy? To be clear, that feature can F right off.
The stages in this game are pure nostalgia. It’s so fun to explore the nooks and crannies of every stage, and look for secrets! With that being said, wave/tower defense is a huge waste for a main game type. You’re limited to how many deployables you can select to have available, only 3 at a time. Then you get coins from killing enemies, and spend the coins trying to keep your defenses up to protect the hypercores. Getting overwhelmed is pretty easy, and having your defense crumble, and not have enough money to fix them up is also common. Also, selecting 3 deployables to have available can hamstring you due to selecting say, a spike trap, defense walls, and a ground turret would leave you at a disadvantage if there are air enemies and you didn’t select the Anti-Air deployable.
Over the last year or two they finally added a free-roam so you can at least enjoy exploring the lovingly crafted stages. I think they just missed an opportunity to make something more akin to Toy Commander for Dreamcast, rather then a wave based tower defense game.
To be fair, there isn’t a whole ton of legitimate reasons why civilians need .50 cal rifles. I wonder if republicans will oppose the bill because anything that infringes on the rights of guns is abhorrent to them. Or if they’ll champion it, because Mexican Cartel’s use .50 cal rifles.
I’m willing to bet it’ll be the first option, because just like the border bill, they don’t want anything that’ll take away the drum they like to beat to rile up their base. If they only like complaining about a problem to scare people, and actively avoid fixing that problem.
Aww, he/she looks like a badly made muppet.
Oh man! It’s releases on all platforms at once, even PC!!! Normally PC comes out like a year later. That’s fantastic!
Some background on me, I’m a IT geek, I love technology, I love VR, not a huge fan of apple. I couldn’t understand the use case for the Vision Pro, especially given battery life and other odd little limitations. The hardware sounded absolutely amazing, some incredible features, but Apple really wanted to distance the headset from VR, and instead was pushing this weird idea that you’d just sit and use the head in an Augmented Reality style interface for their eco system. Imagine wearing this thing during your child’s first birthday in order to capture a 3d video.
It’s a shame, but it’s a solution looking for a problem. If they would have leaned hard into the incredible hardware to be a killer VR headset too, that may have helped a little bit. But as everyone else is saying… I’m not surprised by this outcome.
That looks great, plus I loved that series that this art style is from.
Well damn, it’s on Apple TV, the one service I don’t have.
I think you can provide lyrics yourself, can udio generate lyrics on its own? I listened to some of the staff pick songs, and they were pretty good. I’m not musically inclined, and I have zero skill in coming up with lyrics, but stuff like this and Midjourney let me be creative in ways I don’t have natural talent in.
I bet Udio is going to loathed by musicians even harder then artists hate Midjourney.
I read that Tesla being Tesla reinvented a ton of very standard components that other car manufacturers have been using for decades. So there are a lot of weird issues with Teslas that you wouldn’t see in a car from an established car maker. It’s Tesla ego which makes them think that they can design component better than a whole industry over decades and decades could.
When the Model S came out, I thought it was the height of cool, but I wouldn’t consider buying one of their vehicles now. I think the only reason they even kinda did well was that the rest of the car makers were slow to start making EVs that looked decent and were priced reasonably. Now that the big boys are in the game, Tesla has been dropping the price of some of their models to try and stay competitive. But their cars have always had quality assurance issues, and their support isn’t decent at all, since they try to blame customers for things outside of their control.
I’m cautiously optimistic! Twisted Metal surprised me, and maybe this will too!
Under no circumstance did I expect Trump to gracefully accept a loss. Stone is just stating the obvious.
