I mean, freeing up money from the payments I could see having the effect if allowing states to bring in more from sales taxes for stuff that folks could then afford to buy, or property taxes maybe for better housing.
For Doma!
I haven’t needed adguard with brave browser…yet. Though id probably go the safari way next if that stops working
Most of the ads we see on our Roku Tv are political. I don’t know about Temu’s but I’d rather get non-political ads.
I guess if they’re considered “rich”. I just figured out I’m technically middle class and I ignore most health issues. Granted i don’t smoke, drink alcoholic drinks rarely, or have any sort of entertainment budget or discretionary monies for extracurriculars.
If obly there were a way to pass off my CC debts like corporations lol.
Ah okay, i remember that setting in iOS. Will check the network setting on my Mac Mini to see if thats an option.
Love the network name lol.
Did I age myself there?
Someone who might be more familiar with MacOs and iOS please correct me if I’m wrong but i think if certain settings are turned on they will periodically randomize their MAC addresses for security/privacy.
I’m running pihole in a docker container and set the IP to be static on the router. After either a reboot or the update to Sequoia (or both?) The IP address chsnged due to a new MAC address and broke my pihole settings until i updated it.
Its working as intended for me. Hence, I’m here.
That is awesome. I’ll see if i can give that a go!
Oh nice, thanks again! I started testing the instances in the app but they were failing at pulling the videos during the tests. The instance you mentioned looks to be working!
I’m not familiar with using a VPS, I’ll have to look into that. i have pihole running on a mac mini with my router using that for dns and I’m an avid user of ProtonVPN.
Thats awesome! Looks like it runs off of Invidious and they’re having issues right now. I’ll check back in on it and hopefully they can get back up and running again!
I’m betting these wont work on a Roku Tv huh? Kiddo likes putting music videos for shapes and beats but the constant POLITICAL ads are driving me nuts.
While I can’t say I have a large yard. My 80v Greenworks system can do the job 90% of the time on 1 battery (I have 2). When it can’t from being lazy and not mowing as often as I should have or it was especially rainy, I can swap the batteries in moments and the battery charges within 20 or so minutes. By then I am done or using the battery from the mower in the leaf blower or weed whacker.
I would imagine if I had a larger yard I would go with a third in the event of having longer grass to cut and would have a battery charged, battery charging, and one in use.
I would not trade my yard system with a gas one for any amount of money. If i do anything it’d be to hire someone that uses electric (quieter!) to mow and edge and all that jazz. Or use a Fiskars reel mower.
Oh yea. I drive an ID.4. Suck it gas stations trolololol.
Came to me crying saying “sir….”
Lol. I just went googling and it was Qbasic Gorrilas! Now that takes me back.
Anyone else play Montezuma’s Revenge or that DOS King Kong game throwing explosive bananas after inputting stuff for height, angle, force?
God I hate I private insurance.
Your initial response read to me that there were folks wishing for still borns.
But yeah the stories are typically horrifying, like the one mother in Texas who had the means to flee out of state to get the healthcare she needed.
When my wife, son and I lived with my MIL for a time she wanted to reduce her internet/cable/landline bill. Dropped the TV, got an antenna and she was able to watch the couple of channels she actually watched for free (minis rhe cost of the antenna).
She rarely took calls on the landline so she dropped that. We started doing some streaming to experiment and then found out that the local provider she had limited her to a 200GB/month cap and had two levels of overage fees of $50 for 50GB on top of the $150 she was paying for her 25Mbps service.
We blasted through that as I was trying out Google Stadia at the time.
Thank god her address was also serviced by AT&T. They gave her twice the speed with a 1TB data cap but for whatever reason it was never enforced for $50/month.
Moved out and went with AT&T at the new house. Just recently moved houses in the last few years and my choices for internet are either the 50Mbps for $50, whatever plans that the local ISP has which includes fiber, or something like T-Mobiles 5G Home service which didn’t work with my work going WFH (something technical about my work VPN was compatible).
I’m sticking with AT&T until something better other than the local ISP comes in.
