I used to have a friend who was born with his left hand disabled and could only really play videogames on easy unless they had heavy accessibility options. Whenever i see these weird “dark souls needs to be hard” people i cant help but think about him and how he’s barred from playing these deep, visually impressive games because the community starts sending death threats at the mere mention of an easy mode.

The amount of knee jerk rage I’ve seen over paint whenever one of these incidents happens. Its paint. It comes off. Its an extremely effective strategy to get attention while causing little to no damage.

I got pretty severe tinnitus after getting in an accident last year and it’s by far one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever experienced. I don’t exactly know whether this strat is redundant or not but I wear noise cancelling earbuds with full earmuffs overtop and it seems to do a good job. Plus i get the added benefit of being able to listen to music and hear phonecalls while on a machine.

I dont think its unreasonable to assume that the Russian military command genuinely believed the they were a lot stronger than they actually were when this started. Just based on what news I’ve been following, it seems like its very common for Russian officers to lie to their superiors about how strong their units are for the sake of looking good.
