Unlike every other state, Maine and Nebraska award two electors to the statewide winner and one to the winner of each congressional district. Those individual, competitive electoral votes in Maine and Nebraska become hugely consequential in potential tie scenarios.

I just wish I would be allowed to have a persistent number row on my keyboard. I literally cannot fathom why I’m not permitted to have this. (And as a side-note, I also wish I could swipe type on the full-size keyboard and not have to minimize it down to the little accessibility version. There literally seems to be no point to this, except to make users’s lives more difficult.)

I feel like every country that used to pretty cool, is just devolving into a political hellscape, because a small group of assholes are firmly convinced that they should be in charge of what everyone else does, thinks, and feels.
