So… it’s basically people getting worked up for imaginary reasons? Again?
And folks are openly against that? …why?
Didn’t they take away crowd-sourced subtitles before?
I’d sew stuffed animals donate them to hospitals. I would also put on scavenger hunts for kids to find them around town! It’d be a good activity for kids to do with their siblings, parents, friends, etc.
I would open up a bearded dragon rescue again and possibly turn it into a sanctuary!
I’d learn how to use saws and do woodworking to create fun & interesting furniture! I can already do upholstery, but I’d love to make something from the ground up.
I’d apply for a wildlife rehab permit & help animals.
I’d learn how to code games and put my rusty Blender skills to work!
Gosh… there’s honestly so much I’d like to do… but I am poor, uninsured, and living paycheck-to-paycheck, so I don’t have the time or money to do any of it.
It’s nice to think about, though.
Thank you!! I’d love to make some for myself & my kid to eat. He loves spaghetti, so eating his ice cream like this would be a blast!
Thanks again!
What is it, what is it?? It looks great!
Please don’t horrify me with such things when I’m having such a nice day.
Peak t-shirt slogan humor, I’m sure. Very ironic. 👍
So young, and already so done with this shit.
I honestly don’t mind it, as my kid and I also bond and joke over quoting homestarrunner & other online media.
I think it’s only an issue if the kids can’t “turn it off” or have no other interests or hobbies other than doing things online.
Plus, it’s middle school. These kids don’t really have themselves figured out yet, so constantly parroting popular memes can gain them some acceptance from their peers.
To be fair, this is the “awkward tween” phase.
Adult robins look much better!
Photo source & info page is here.
Fledgling! (:
Sweet little guy & wonderful photo!
You’re right, my apologies. Been a good while since I’ve cracked open the book.
Either way, good wholesome biblical tales for the whole family!
My kid is in middle school, and the current thing is calling out to “chat” out loud if something interesting happens.
“Chat, is this real?”
“Chat, did you see that?”
“Chat, do you know the answer?”
Etc.
Some kids are already “terminally online”.
That was the daughters of Noah. You’re mixing up your Bible lore a bit.
I was wrong! My bad on that.
“Helping people is gay”
I think about this often.
I do not belong here.
Damn, you’re right. We wouldn’t want to humanize people with autism, now would we?
I remember being in the Stardew Vallet subr×ddit with someone talking about their guilt pirating the game because they really really enjoyed playing it but just couldn’t afford the 15$ price at the moment.
Several players graciously offered to purchase & gift them the game on Steam.
It was so lovely.
People will happily pay for good, enjoyable games they feel are worth the price.
I’d like to play that new Princess Peach game one day, but there’s no fucking way I’m paying 60$ to play a game I’m not even sure I’ll like.
What a waste.
Some folks always need somebody else to feel superior over, I guess.
