Doesn’t about every country have a spy agency? In the modern age it’s kinda important to have people check your digital infrastructure and have the capabilities to attack the digital infrastructures of your enemies.

Damn… 30% is actually way more than I thought. Profit margins are probably lower, right?
I think it’s also partly because apple’s business model is more compatible with not earning money from selling your data (not saying they are also doing that). You buy a windows keys once and that’s it, but apple customers often buy into their ecosystem meaning that apple can earn recurring money from overpriced hardware.
Yea, but I would that the fast majority of the articles aren’t negative. I agree that there is a lot of negativity on Lemmy, but that’s something that a lot of people are more interested in. If you only want more positivity you should search communities that fit this, there are loads (more are ofcourse always welcome tho).
huh, weird, my 5 top communities are: tech, news, lemmy shitpost, science memes, world news.
I think you are looking at your local community list.
If you look at the most popular communities, 3/5 first ones are not politics.
Simple solution, start your own community with only positive news.
I’m sure the CEO doesn’t pay himself extremely well for the time he spends at spotify.
Wtf, why did they build it then?
Damn… Kinda curious to how full that pool is when there are more guests.
Sorry, I made a mistake. Should be fixed now (:
maybe !games@lemmy.world?
I’m not sure if jerboa has an option to create a community. But you could also just make one by logging into lemm.ee (the website).
But as mentioned by another commenter, it might be better to do this in another community. Lemmy isn’t big enough for very niche communities like this.
Is there a reason it needs to be fresh water? Is sea water less effective?
Yea, that’s true. But I would say that is still better then forking over money into the rent furnace each month right?
The nice thing about owning a home is that you actually build up your saving. If you at some point get in hot waters you can sell your home to get some backup cash.
Just playing devil’s advocate here, but if we could get to a future with algorithms so good they are essentially a talking version of all human knowledge, this would be a great thing for humanity.
I just don’t see how you got that from the original comment.
They say things like “could have been worse”, and “But that’s a damn shame no matter what, life is precious.”. How does that imply what you say it implies?
Not with apple tv+, I believe only netflix makes profit of streaming.
