just thinking logistically, I imagine that happened a lot. Anyway I expect a decent number of his calls were made by aides and he just took the phone after they got through to the right person.
Republicans have a super majority in KY senate and house
There’s a lot of downvotes here which are valid, but I personally wouldn’t be opposed to paying a few bucks to the devs making Lemmy for a sticker to put on my laptop.
I suppose I would just want to see Lemmy’s principles set in legally binding stone before I would want to give them cash.
Edit: lemmy quickly add that I’m obviously no expert in any of this and these are just casual musings not clear directions haha

Depends on the job field. I was combat arms, and I’d say it was around 50-60%

Thanks for the link, I don’t see anything in there about the US “tightening” anything, though?
Guess it’s just a case of using hyperbolic language.
“we are going to continue building our revolution, despite the tightening of the blockade”
I haven’t been following Cuba at all, can someone more knowledge expand on this? Has the US tightened the sanctions on Cuba? I thought we loosened them during the Obama years?
Fuck you it’s already creeping up to 80 where I am and I fucking hate it.
WoW sub included in game pass when???
Lol so true. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s an almost 800 year old citation being used by the majority opinion of the highest court in the land.
Talk about precedent.
Justice Alito cited the 13th century English legal treatise De Legibus et Consuetudinibus Angliae when he allowed states to ban abortion so I guess it’s pretty inspiring.
US Common Law directly traces its lineage to English Common Law, which in turn has its roots in Anglo-Saxon law. Courts still occasionally cite centuries old English legal cases.
Republicans never argue in good faith, and bending over backwards to give them what they want just shows them they can demand even worse terms next time.
