Hopefully Green Bell G-1008 nail clippers. They’re significantly better than any clippers I’ve used before. They’d make the mowing process much better.

Good riddance.
I’m pretty sure the Linux support was on day one. I was running Linux back then and played it quite a bit and it worked great.
Dark Tower IV is such an amazing read. When I finished the series I wanted to read IV again.
I’m not familiar with the others. I’ll have to check those out. Thankee-sai.
He plays himself pretty well in UHF.
D. B. Cooper, for sure.
And make it connect with an RJ-45 so you can swap out for a connection device for your own carrier instead of some stupid proprietary interface.
I miss a lot of the niche hobby subs, the non-image sex related subs, justrolledintotheshop, *swap subs, and some of the *sales subs. I have other forums where I can fulfill some of these and it was nice to have them all in one place.
I blame that 100% on Nvidia. Buying an Nvidia card these days for Linux makes about as much sense as buying an iPhone to run Android. Linus summed it up well https://youtu.be/iYWzMvlj2RQ
The number of applications that run through xwayland is shrinking every day.
X is dead.
Yep, this is exactly it. When 3g was going away and 4g was starting up, T-Mobile pulled the same thing trying to brand their UMTS stuff as 4g when it’s clearly a 3g protocol. You can always rely on the marketers to lie until the end of time.
Software RAID is much faster than you think, even in RAID 5. Many of the algorithms used in software RAID leverage special CPU instructions that can process the parity operations at a very fast rate. Reading the data, which is by far the most common operation in a Lemmy instance, uses even less computational power than writes.
Gonna need a new release of Skyrim too.
I feel less bad now with the Fisker I got at $6/share.
The dev hasn’t updated it in a bit and it’s getting more broken for me, especially with loading certain image types. I did pay for ad free on it when it came out but I’m starting to get a bit frustrated with the issues lately.
A while back I sealed and reinsulated my house and replaced all the duct work. It made a massive difference on my electric bill as my house’s HVAC system is a heat pump. I did all the work myself and got a rebate from the electric company and it ended up costing me about $1000 out of pocket. I did some calculations back then and my payback period was only a couple of years so it has been paying me back for quite a while now. It was one of the best things I have ever done.
It’d be an easy battle. The last iRobot device I had was a fickle piece of junk that’d error out constantly or ignore virtual walls. I’m on my second Roborock vacuum now and am very impressed with how well they work. I gave my first one away and it’s still working great for the person I gave it to.
You could run jellyfin on your desktop and use that to stream shows to your tablet. Or VLC works for connecting to network file shares and you could play from that.
Pass on the fridge. I have the same one and it will freeze the ones in the back if you don’t leave a space between the back of the fridge and your drinks. I can only fill it about 2/3 of the way or it doesn’t work very well. I’ve considered adding a fan inside, and I’ve even powered a USB fan off a battery pack and it made a big difference.
