Jellyfin and sin
Well, the rear wing did look exceptionally sketchy there, and he scattered a bunch of carbon fiber on the track, and the team did this to avoid a SC. Maybe a bit harsh for Pérez, but a justified penalty for Red Bull, imo.
Haas breaking everyone’s ankles, holy moly.
Eww… I know sponsors run this sport, but I’d rather you didn’t post an Amazon ad.
I also think the engine changes are very questionable, but with so many brilliant engineers trying to make these cars go fast, I still have some hope left. On the other hand, it would be quite a spectacular failure from FIA if 2026 cars are as slow as some people worry.
Congratulations to Ferrari and/or McLaren on winning 2025 and 2026 WCC
Thanks for the explanation, you really came in clutch.
I bet Brundle can’t wait to interview Trump during the grid walk.
In an interview he pretty much said that his intention was to stay ahead of the pack at all cost to protect Nico https://piped.video/ivslsT3TjK8
But F1 is racing in the US, in theory there’s a threat of Vegas, Miami or COTA cancelling their contracts.
I don’t know enough about American politics to know how much it costs to pay off a rep, but Mario racked up over $100,000 worth of donations to Republicans, and his daughter-in-law, Jodi Peterson, about $30,000 to both parties.
Edit: Mario is at $144k according to www.fec.gov
If anyone else had their eyes violated by seeing this livery, you can file an ethics complaint against Ferrari here: https://www.fia.com/fia-ethics-and-compliance-hotline
Correct, according to Erik van Haren he’s stepping away from F1 immediately and will be free to leave Red Bull altogether at the beginning of 2025, which is when teams will start developing their 2026 cars.
No, you can’t stop engineers from testing aero in their heads, but I would imagine teams are required to keep logs and documentation of development work/wind tunnel time/computer simulations for FIA to inspect at any time. It’s nothing new either, each team has a wind tunnel time and CFD allocation per season, and there’s no development allowed over the summer break. I suppose in the end you have to trust that FIA is enforcing these rules properly, but you can never know for sure.
End of an era, whether he retires or moves.
Remember that teams will only be allowed to work on their 2026 car from the start of 2025 and new regulations aren’t even finalized. Red Bull will be developing the aero without Newey, and are working on the new engine without Honda. Some exciting times coming, hopefully.
Nice argument, unfortunately I don’t care about laws of physics
As far as terrible sponsors go HP’s anti-consumer bullshit seems almost tolerable when compared to Big Oil, cancer sticks and the rest. Isn’t the advertising industry simply lovely.
Even more interesting that land use had a marginal cooling effect, despite also causing a net increase in CO2 emissions.
