There needs to be a ban on any judge presiding over something within at least one or two degrees of separation of relationships with said judge. Any direct relationships, either direct relatives or friends or direct investment, and possibly second degree relationships like a relative or friend being invested, or a relative/friend of a relative/friend.

Haven’t tried it on Linux recently, but MakeMKV still supports Linux apparently. You have to build it yourself though.

I mean, if this is basically Twitter’s Community Notes feature, but for YouTube, I’m all for it. Bit of a balancing act, but it’s the last thing that hasn’t been completely wrecked now that Twitter became Xitter.

I just wish compatibility was better. Even if I save in ODT format in either Word or Writer, opening the file in the other program almost always results in formatting errors. Not to mention using DOC/DOCX.
As far as I can tell, it’s always used ActivityPub for instances to communicate with each other, with video streaming mainly facilitated using WebTorrent on the backend to keep use of the host low.
It’s really sad because the artists have little to no control over this. It is the venues who are contracted through Ticketmaster.
Yeah, it’s like if every movie theater only used Fandango. It would be ridiculous if that was the case, yet that’s what’s happened to live events.
Yeah, but that’s still an extra expense. Most people using Google VPN were using it because they were already paying for Google One.
The only plus in this situation is that switching VPNs is far easier than other services since it’s just a pipe you’re swapping out.
Still annoying though, since Google VPN was nice if you were already paying for Google One. Now people will have to pay extra for something else.
Unfortunately, the lack of Japanese input makes it a total non-starter for my use case so I had to go crawling back.
