Ahh, never knew that!
I thought Windows wouldn’t let you save it to the same drive? Its been a while, granted. But i had to plug in a USB or print it out.
The problem is, knowing Microsft, its gonna be turned on by default. And half the people who use Windows barely know how to turn the computer on and off. Let alone dive deep into some half baked settings app to figure out where to turn it off.
I used it for the mac. It was cheaper then buying each new version as a standalone of several software items i used. I can see it work for the iphone as well. You may not need that many apps, but if there are 3 or 4 apps someone uses regulary that are expensive to buy, it can be easier (and like i said, in some cases cheaper) to buy a subscription.
Worry not, im not into conspiracy theories, and i couldnt care less about informing others, mis or not mis.
Well, that explains. Amd here i was thinking i was banned again for telling the truth 😂

All software has issued, such is the nature of software. I always say if you selfhost, at least follow some security related websites to keep up to date about these things :)
Its not hard really, and you shouldn’t be afraid to ask, if we don’t ask then we don’t learn :)
Look at Caddy webserver, it does automated SSL for you.

Look at Kodi or Jellyfin. For kodi there’s also libreelec (or openelec, not completely sure) so you dont have to tinker with the underlying OS much.
Ahhh Clippy makes me smile 😍
But i suppose thats because i have never used it :)
Yes, you can. But a lot of Windows users dont even know what powershell is.
And personally i think you shouldnt have to jump through hoops for what i consider basic functionality. They also make it near impossible to install Windows 11 new without having to resort to all kind of tricks to create a local account. Its a shitshow.
In my humble opinion :)
