About the repeating posts issue unfortunately it’s reddit side problem [1] [2] the other issue where you play a video and the audio keeps playing could most probably be a buffering or memory issue(I haven’t encountered one on Android yet) but if you do encounter it next time please screen record and send me if you can.

Since both left and right swipes(to go back and forward) work already it will be messy to implement that.

When you donate, a token id and status of purchase is sent to the server (in case anyone donates accidentally, rare I know, requests for a refund for their donation I can match order ID and issue refund) . That’s all, no credit card info, email or stuff like that. I wasn’t sure if this counts as financial info on play store so just to be safe I checked that box.

it loads 500 comments by default to save on requests. Only a problem on posts with > 300 comments. Will add an option to load N number of comments only.

It’s 100 requests per 10 minutes. I also cache so 90% of people don’t run into that rate limit.

So the problem with Redgifs is a messy one. There are two ways to embed their videos, one is through their embed code which includes lots of redgifs branding, is tiktok like and not so natie (but it helps them track you etc). The other is a mp4 file that just works like any other video except they don’t have audio. Since almost all of the gifs on Redgifs are nsfw I chose the kater method to display their vids. You can always click the little safari icon (or the globe icon on android) and view the redgif with audio.

To subscribe go to any subreddit and press the top right icon(three bars) there is a subscribe button on the bottom.
