Why not both? There are a fair bit of positions that allow a certain degree of patient sided work. And of course there is always Freelance/Locum work in most countries.

I have switched to a full off-patient role a long time ago and since the beginning of Covid I have worked mostly remotely. But I am still working as a Freelancer for a few shifts per month, depending on my workload.

And I like this model a lot.

Actually COVID is one of the most used tests they do, at least around here. But you can do things like drug use, cancer epidemiology (for some cancers), etc. as well - and that is incredibly helpful from a public health point of view.

Because it’s just like with Covid - we can’t get proper data from patient sided tests because we can’t test everyone. And even if we could,not everyone would.

But everybody poops/pees. And guys like OP interpolate from that.

Very unlikely by now, these issues have been adressed a while ago.

Matrix is slow on large instances, but that’s not the case here, especially if no federation is done.

And the issue with sluggishness is currently the main development focus with ElementX/matrixX that will become mainstream matrix soon. With that even the large instances are extremely fast.

It is literally one setting in Matrix to force all rooms to only do encrypted messages.

Signal is pretty unintuitive when it comes to multiple devices per user, device transfers after a device has been lost,etc.

I don’t have the time nor the crayons to explain that to you.

Yeah, 115 Million users atm. And as I said - you can easily bridge it to other services so you only use Matrix but communicate with others.

Thanks,welcome to the club! It can be a bit “tricky” at times (and I use a container manager,cloudron, meanwhile as I got too deep into the rabbit hole and now host too many things to maintain them myself) but once you get it set up it’s rock solid.

And I am really optimistic for Element X/Matrix 2.0.

Und da eine Grenzkontrolle auf britischer Seite aus britischer wie französischer Sicht nicht möglich ist ohne entsprechenden Vertrag hat man es halt genau so geregelt: Man hat ganz kulant eine Einreisekontrolle auf freiem Feld errichtet.

Am Ende haben beide Seiten den schnellsten Weg genutzt der möglich war ohne geltendes Recht zu brechen.
