It would have if I actually had the PSID 🥲
It was an expensive lesson to take photos of my new drives and store the PSID and serial numbers in KeePass.
Let me guess, Wikipedia is now considered an antisemitic hate group by the ADL, right?
When using Opal (hardware encryption), it locks down the drive. Not even a secure erase would wipe/release the damn thing.
I had this happen to me with a hardware-encrypted bitlocker drive. I was forced to buy a new SSD, actually.
I’m a liberal, and I sure as shit know the only ethical choice is to vote against Trump. People who demand perfection as the alternative to a fascist takeover aren’t just virtue signaling but also maliciously stupid.
Only if you don’t buy the Season 1 Vault-Tec Access Pass for $49.99. Imagine not doing that and then not ever being able to get your Overpowered Armor at pass level 5. You would absolutely be ruining it for yourself by not investing into the seasonal passes.
If the alternative involves shoving polkit on a server just for temporary admin privileges, it’s unnecessary.
Yeah… we didn’t need run0.
Setuid and sudo work fine, and they’re lightweight. I fail to see how yet another binary is needed for that job, and especially one that relies on polkit. If you really needed to use polkit for gaining privileges temporarily, pkexec already exists for that.
The “++” in C++ stands for extra verbose.
The trial was a closed-door hearing.
I think we all know why.
I am most certainly never going to be able to go back to China now.
I put “Messages will arrive in three to five business days” in my bio, and that solved the problem nicely. Now, I simply don’t get matches at all 😎
I’m in a small minority, but their ring0 anticheat isn’t helping with that.
Musk probably says his neuralink is already safe and secure.
If Elmo says something is ready now/soon, it’s nowhere close.
The venn diagram of “wireless connectivity” and “secure and safe” is two non-overlapping circles. Now, consider that something crammed inside your brain probably won’t have a USB port protruding from your skull.

That’s going to be a fun way to learn pod tolerances and affinities. Although… it’s also a great way to play around with multiarch clusters without accidentally burning a hole in your wallet from AWS/GCP usage.
Jury nullification. Prosecutors and judges hate it, but it’s not illegal!
