A Solo Leveling game recently released on mobile and it has very reasonable microtransactions from what I’ve seen. This could be similar.

That does make sense. I’ve mainly used gyro on PC, where Steam Input lets you change the sensitivity per game.
I mostly play on a Steam Deck, which lets you use it on most games by emulating a mouse. I played through GTA5 and some other shooters with it. On switch, the others I know of are Splatoon 2 and Overwatch 2 (I think)
IMO it is definitely very superior. If you practice enough you can get pretty close to the precision and speed of a mouse for small movements.
It already doesn’t have PC crossplay, why not just disable console crossplay, or use the same input based matchmaking other games use, with gyro as an added input? Disabling a superior input is incredibly stupid and will lower the skill ceiling of the game, which is already going to be lower than on PC.
Bottles should make it really simple. You might run into the occasional problem with the installers, but they usually have workarounds.
Looks like it allows that using ollama
Edit: according a couple issues, the flag that allows this is being ignored…
I always check reviews for things like BT adapters to see if people mention it working OTB on Linux. Usually if the manufacturer says compatible with Linux it’ll work right away, but some want drivers installed.
Both are great! I’m using a bluetooth 8BitDo controller with a bluetooth wireless keyboard to game on my 1080TI :)
I’ve had my eye on a 240hz 1440p OLED. A while ago you could only find them around $1k, now I can find them starting at $700. Not sure if prices have dropped similarly for ones with other specs.
Both had optional software, and I only used the keyboard. The software didn’t have to be running for either to work, it was only to configure it and then it wrote the configuration to onboard memory. It was the generic mouse and keyboard input drivers provided by Windows that was blocked and it affected a pretty significant number of users.
Very true, I was using a 1080TI until a few months ago.
GPU’s aren’t in a shortage like they were. The majority of new GPUs are just regular people selling them. I wouldn’t personally call it scalping if it’s below MSRP.
Everyone I know who’s bought a GPU recently has gone used, including me
The first time I installed Vanguard, for the Valorant beta, it decided to disable my mouse and keyboard on each boot.
The tiers still currently offer more stuff. If people are willing to buy them for the current price, there’s no reason not to have them. I think its pretty unlikely they would add that stuff, seeing how much of their current success is based off of Tarkov making that mistake.
The higher tiers don’t contain any gear or perks you can’t unlock in the base edition, unlike tarkov. Also doesn’t lock an entire mode behind the highest tier.
I like lemmy’s design, but I thought it’s user onboarding process was pretty bad when I joined. It’s much better since the join-lemmy.org redesign.
Pretty much everything on the fediverse is just a clone of another social media. Pixelfed still has the most intuitive design for new users and a great onboarding process. Took Mastodon a while to catch up.
Tauri is the electron alternative we already have. This does look like a good framework, just not the same as electron.
