Good luck hiding the smell
Can I request a hack? How do I handle several different versions of Python installed, which one is used for pip stuff, and how sudo/running as services changes all of this.
Is this insinuating he’s chatting with minors on discord?
I’m uninformed, why were things like snap and flatpak created?
I barely understand docker, but I’m starting to understand why it can be beneficial, although bloated.
I chose to set up grafana, mqtt, etc for an RV instead of home assistant. Little more lightweight for the raspberry pi 3 I used. Pulling together solar info, so we could see how long the AC would keep running on the road
I’m not a flashlight or vape guy. Many cells have built in protection circuits. I always assume these are not present and make sure external protections are provided. Your idea should work, but usually smaller batteries mean smaller capacity, and sometimes lower current charging and discharging.
Do not solder directly to any battery. Have an explosive containment pie-dish nearby. Use under supervision the first few times.
CET Designer with in house tools added. Nothing worked well, or even worked as documented for longer than a couple months. And engineering projects using it would last years… We’d go to do as builts and nothing worked the way it did when the project began.
Millie is sometimes Miller lite
Donuts? Like anyone who uses Lemmy could fit more than one on it 😆.
3D print an adapter to hold a coin to use on Aldi carts.
Is this also loss?
I mainly use them when I want something windowed but without tabs taking up space. Like monitoring my solar panels
If you are concerned about things like PWAs like I was, try it out anyway. PWAs require a bit more setup, but are a lot more flexible in Firefox. For example, PWAs with http connections have a huge banner in Chrome, and just an icon in Firefox. Everything I’ve noticed is that firefox is just as snappy as Chrome
Ah yes the classic “why are you using a feature, it’s your fault for wanting it to work”. Thanks. So helpful.
If a practically brand new flagship like the Pixel 6 has more bugs than an ancient iPhone XR, I don’t think base Android can survive much longer. Basic functionality like YouTube PiP and theming glitch out regularly. Not to mention extended features like bubbles in Messages being broken since day one. Sure, I can sideload on Android, but if that comes to iPhone…
I can’t seem to make $200 per year for a device work out with Android anymore. The pixel 6 should last 3 years in my opinion, but support for the 6 has been limited since the pixel 7 came out. Even at $900, I think the iPhone could prove to be a better deal with 6 years of support backed by a history of keeping such promises. USB-C, RCS, Sideloading are all I’ve been waiting for.
I’m pretty close to switching to iPhone.
I’m only a few episodes in, but so far it doesn’t feel like the same show. I don’t want any more of this. Maybe some day I’ll finish this season… maybe not.
I’ve sold several pixel phones through swappa. They seem to be a good marketplace
