65+ (Harris up 10 from Biden 2020)
Boomers potentially saving us from Trump was not on my 2024 bingo card (I know that is from a higher base of existing Trump support but still).
I wouldn’t call those margins a blowout, even if they are more favourable than the other meta-polls. There’s still room for a polling error in favour of the Republicans (although there also could be a polling error in favour of the Democrats).
Imagine being a young woman knowing that your male counterparts are voting to take away your rights. Although I guess that really isn’t a new thing.
My dark horse hope is that women show up to the election with baseball bats and vote with rates that are comparable to places with compulsory voting.
“So what you’re saying is I’m indestructible?”
“No, even a slight breeze could-”
“'…indestructible.”
I’m also expecting him to start talking about Biden’s dick, given how much he desperately wants Biden back as his opponent along with constantly talking about people’s “schlongs”.
They might be concerned about future competition with a looming potential breakup of the company by the US DOJ (not that it would necessarily weaken Android itself but it seems plausible). But it could also just be because one of the devs wanted to do it, which is pretty typical with Google (for better and for worse).
It’s probably just something that one of the AOSP devs wanted (to scratch an itch and all of that). It might also mean they won’t have a GUI app to manage the VM initially and you’ll just use the new Terminal.
Step two: Spread disinformation about vaccines that would have prevented millions of deaths (RFK is a prominent anti-vaxxer)
I think they probably do care, but they just haven’t got around to strong-arming them yet. There’s still more emulator devs to harass after all.
Well he outright hates black people, so extending that to immigrants wouldn’t be surprising.
Maybe the Libertarians from A Libertarian walks into a bear finally found a solution to their bear problem.
Can you imagine a world without influencers?
Do you have any recommendations for a Perplexity.ai type setup? It’s one of the few recent innovations I’ve found useful. I’ve heard of Perplexica and a few others, but not sure what is the best approach.
Yes. See: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/specify-target-feature-update-version-in-windows-11.3811/
Or try InControl if you can’t get the above to work.
Perplexity seems to work but I don’t like the idea of AI giving me “facts” since they are mostly based on other AI posts
It helps that it gives actual sources, so you can verify them. But yeah, not helpful if all of the sources end up being AI posts.
You can instead have elections on the weekend, which gives more opportunity to vote without requiring a public holiday. Nobody would choose Tuesday if they were designing the system today.
And yes, early and mail voting should be universally implemented as well.
however the issue I run into is if I lose internet access at home, none of my services are able to function as they can no longer reach the management interface.
Do the services stop working immediately, or only after restarting the netbird client(s)? I’ve found headscale/tailscale nodes will continue to communicate with each other with the internet down, but restarting the tailscale client will break things (which makes sense of course).
If netbird has an equivalent to MagicDNS that could cause issues after a while of losing connectivity (since the DNS will be hosted on the VPS).
It’s just more visible since downvotes and upvotes are shown separately. On the old site, that hasn’t been the case for years.
Or just use tailscale/headscale/netbird and keep the underlying wireguard performance.
In turn, women need to vote like their rights depend on it. Because you might find in a years time that there is a nationwide abortion ban and there is nowhere left to go.
