You all are very offended by the fact that Biden is not the president of Israel. Gonna have to accept at least that fact if real progress is to be made.

“The US president can influence Israel” probably true. But confusing that with “Biden controls Israel” makes ya look dumb.

In not one of these comments did i see anybody proposing direct action like donating to standing together ( https://www.standing-together.org/donatehere )

    Or boycott Israel: https://bdsmovement.net/

Nah. Why do that when blaming Biden is better for driving division.

What if for a minute the US said we aren’t going to send you $3 billion dollars unless you stop killing civilians. I bet you every single of those $3 billion that the killing would stop.

I’d bet my same imaginary 3 billion bucks that it wouldn’t work. Netanyahu needs a war to stay out of jail. He won’t give it up for money

He did, which is why there was one, and continues to do so. He isn’t doing it publicly to avoid backing Nyet N’ Yahoo! into a corner forcing him to reject it for political reasons.

It would have been nice, but I don’t think felt they could have because Hamas wasn’t a signatory to the accords that bound Israel. They also didn’t for the Rohynga genocide either, so this is consistent with how they usually handle cases between state and non-state actors. That doesn’t Israel wasn’t doing a genocide, this will come out over time.

True that’s a good point, they did have some commentary on that subject with regard to Hamas’s hostages. Can’t call it an order to release them, as a non party, sort of a directive or firm suggestion.

With the Rohygna case, Myanmar was straight up strafing civilians with helicopters and burning whole villages to the ground, plus lynch mobs. Their claims of “valid military targets” by my memory were few and incredible, and no efforts to warn civilians.

I’m looking forward to reading Israeli’s 30-day status report.

What’s the alternative though? It’s not like the Republicans are fielding anyone who’d stop the genocide.
