What pisses me off the most is how terrible of a strategy this is for literally everyone. The contempt and insensitivity they’ve shown towards us has probably turned off many voters permanently. If the Dems think corporate donations will somehow make up for it, they have completely lost the plot. Biden came into office claiming to value global democracy, but he’s demonstrated that “global democracy” still just means American imperialism.

Biden won’t just have the blood of a million Palestinian children on his hands, but the blood of children from every corner of the globe. A fascist US has no silver lining for anybody. It’s bad for capitalists, tankie accelerationists, and the fascists themselves. Our economy and our military are a threat to all life on earth. A lot of people will die thanks to this liberal cowardice.

Liberals are cowardly in regards to limiting capitalism to preserve liberalism. It’s hard to stand against the rich, so they don’t, weakening liberal democracy to the core and letting fascists grow stronger.

The one that the democrats bent over backwards to pass the biggest bill ever in support of?

The one that republicans decided couldn’t be done because it might help Biden?

The bill that would solidify border restrictions and increase incarceration and deportation? That fascist bill?

Yeah, Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for supporting that.

I don’t disagree, but let’s call a spade a spade, if someone is talking about the shit at the southern border, it’s a pretty safe bet whose side they’re on

Based on what I’ve heard from Biden and his supporters, I’m really not so sure

Don’t somewhere around 70% of Democrats believe in the fascist myth of a “border crisis”?

I feel like I am calling a spade a spade.

I am willing to concede this to you.

I feel like I just fell into my old habits of assuming the Democratic Party (btw iOS automatically capitalized both of those words, which is whatever, correct is correct I suppose, I just don’t think party should be capped) was what I used to believe it was.

To be clear, I wasn’t trying to win per se, just expressing my firm belief.

I just don’t think party should be capped) was what I used to believe it was

I feel this. I earnestly volunteered for the Obama campaign in 08 because I really believed he would push for change. I truly believed that.
