Luckily no, not all do.
We specifically chose a car with normal handles because ice/snow is a bitch with the motorized/flush ones

Yeah I agree, would be nice if the sold packs were as easy to replace as the leased ones are, but I doubt it.
I hope other makers come with a similar solution in the future. Being such a vital part and known to slowly degrade it should be easier to replace.
We agree on every point except Apple products slowing down significantly faster than Android. My personal experience has been the polar oposite.
Thanks for taking the time to reply!
Hey man, I’m an Android dude for phones. Won’t even consider an iPhone as I dislike locked ecosystems for phones, but this is just not true.
Apple supports their devices way longer than any of the major Android producers do. I can’t remember the last time my phone was supported more than 3-4 years, but my iPad was just rock solid and updated for 6 years. Replaced it because I wanted more RAM for scrolling endlessly on Reddit, but it was brilliant for everything else. My daughter still uses it with no issues today, two tears later.
The missus’ Samsung tablet on the other hand…
What a piece of crap, and it was top of the line just three years ago.
This already exists.
Look up Nio. They already have fully automatic battery swapping stations for cars leasing the pack. You literally swap the whole pack instead of charging when it’s empty.
Takes less than 10 minutes
For me it’s been the stability of our sever.
It’s run by a private person on nothing but goodwill and interest, which I was afraid would only last a few months. He (and the other admins) have done an incredible job keeping things running smoothly and with a very level headed approach to content filtering and general rules.
You all deserve a massive round of applause from all of us benefitting with zero work.
I can relate with the butter.
I love butter. Cook with it all the time. It’s amazingly delicious. But the smell when melting it makes me want to throw up and I don’t get why.
Same with Italian hard cheesea. Parmegiano and Peccorino Romano smell like ass but raste really good in my carbonara. Anyone can relate?
Please read snoogums response and reflect on the idiocy of your comment.
You are better than this mate.
Have a good weekend.
If they imperialistically invade Canada/Mexico and rape and torture both civilians and military alike, then of course I would.
And before you ask: I’d wish the same if my country ever did the same to one of our neighbors. My principles are the same regardless.
Did you expect a different answer?
While I agree with your point in general, I too «celebrate» russian soldiers being eliminated.
The pure, evil brutality their countrymen have shown the world in the last two years is beyond comprehension.
So I guess it’s more celebrating every Ukranian who gets to live because these men died, if that makes sense.
I’d much prefer they get to go home of course. I think most of us do.
This was my logic.
Sell the BMW and get a Ducati and then a Honda Monkey….
Ooooh shiny new Rizoma parts!!!
My account ain’t growing at all…!
I swear I’m not a besserwisser but I recently learned something I found annoyingly interesting and I’m sharing it hoping you will too:
Panthers aren’t a species but usually either a jaguar or leopard if black or a collective name for all large cats belonging to the Pantera family.
We literally bought a fridge three days ago and it drove me bloody mad.
The numbers mean absolutely nothing!!!
And why is the Siemens version cheaper than the Bosch version of the same fridge, and why aren’t they named something even remotely similar???
Why is this identical fridge $400 more???
(Ended up contacting Bosch to figure it out. It was a damn soft close function. For $400…)
Ended up going to the store and picking one based on physical testing because God forbid any retailer add anything more than a short text on each product.
Hope this one lasts us 50 years so I never have to buy another fridge again!
I saw Swedish rapper Timbuktu at a local festival some 10 years ago, but he brought a full orchestra with him. It was an absolutely incredible mix that I’ll never forget
Serious question: why is it called a “hot water heater”?
If anything, it heats cold water to make it hot.
Why not just “water heater”?
Brothers: A tale of two sons.
Only game that ever made me cry alone.
Yeah same.
I only use it to follow r/ukraine, and I don’t comment or vote.
Lemmy is not perfect but it scratches my itch to see what random strangers think about random topics so I don’t really miss it.
Our currency has taken a bit of a hit since covid, so I guess it’s more like $20 today.
210 NOK when I checked my local price for Dune 2 just now.
Add in some snacks and we’re way over $30, so hopefully my point still stands.
Oh I agree with you wholeheartedly friend!
They don’t care because people keep buying their shit anyways, which is why many of us tell you to stop buying it and then we’ve gone full circle again.
I’m not recommending complaining to them because I think they will care. I do it because I it could have a greater impact than complaining here which has exactly zero impact.
Not exactly what you asked for, but I went with Eufy with local storage. There is a home base so everything is stored here and not in the cloud. Costs a bit more but gives me peace of mind.
Downside is that it won’t work if my internet or power is out, but that happens once a year, max.
For door I’d go with Yale with the hub to lock and unlock remotely.
Don’t know of a combined solution, sadly.
