You’re gonna be ok
You’re gonna be ok
And pip install -r requirements.txt
And took old anti gay marriage OUT of the constitution
Now we’re talking
Your last sentence is great.
Regarding the prior stuff, that’s very “you specific”. There’s of course tons of caveats or gotchas to my broad statement, but it doesn’t make it untrue.
Biometrics present a less secure access path to a device…
Sure, as conversation, i’ve heard of thieves face unlocking phones they just stole.
Indeed running as sterile an every day phone as possible is another great security approach by reducing risk.
If you don’t succeed in lockdown before seizure, or aren’t conscious, your biometrics can be used without your consent.
Taking reasonable steps to improve your security doesn’t mean all efforts are all or nothing
Never use biometrics on devices, security/privacy risk
Yeah I’ve worked with a team that has a very impressive on prem solution, if you have the hardware. Most clients are comfortable with the privacy risk rather than the hardware spend.
I don’t need to talk to those who are openly racist. I’m not talking about some political double speak. I have trump voters in my community that openly use racist slurs in their discussion of immigrants, and minorities in town.
You are the company you keep, and those folks aren’t part of my life. Trump was just the vector to illuminate their position that was previously kept in hushed tones behind doors.
That’s just ageism, with a nationalist(?) crust.
There’s lots of dumb boomers. There’s lots of Alzheimeric boomers. There’s lots of smart, respectful boomers.
Suggesting an entire generation can’t respect others is junk.
Imagine you subbed out “boomer” for a race. It’d be insane to say.
Tons of boomers have completely accepted 2024, their children, and their choices. You apparently just haven’t met them.
As clarification, the hunting and consuming of conscious sentient beings is pretty clearly not vegan. Eating something increases its suffering.
If the human does not want to be eaten, doing so (aside from after their natural death) is a hunt
Edit to be most clear, I meant isn’t a core tenant not eating things USING their sentience, when you have caloric alternatives. If it died naturally it’s just a hunk of meat
Huh? You decide how you are treated. Even by your parents. I’ve had good conversations with my now aged and forgetful parents where I clarify how I want to be spoken to.
Edit not all boomers have Alzheimer’s
I mean adults. I was unclear. Editing.
I know it’s hard, I’m not trivializing it, but no one (edit adult) should be treated like a child. It only happens to those who let it happen. (The alternative is distancing)
Edit I mean adults shouldn’t be treated like children.
No. We do not do nuance here
Friends… relations… Whatever the hell Meatwad is… I’ve lived a full life. It’s actually been pretty bitchin’. But now, regrettably, my life has been taken. Please bury me with all my stuff, because you know it’s mine…
Happy I have sane parents who consistently downsize and donate without bothering me. We had one conversation where they asked me what I’m interested in. Of course I told them to enjoy their things as they wish.
There was a painting of a beautiful waterfall landscape, painted in 1890, (verified) my grandmother and grandfather bought early in their marriage. I always admired it and it made me think of nostalgic, fond memories of growing up. My dad hated it because that was the formal room he had to sit in for time out. Yoink. It sits in my living room and inspires me every day. A happy trade based on adult conversation.
Context is everything.
Adults having to have adult conversations. Oh no
Now this is podracing
