That’s how most things are in tech. Why reinvent the wheel when someone’s already made it?

I personally love trying to break into any device running android and install our companies web crawler onto it. I almost got it working on my DJI drone remote. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be able to get into these Logitech Tap Scheduler things.

3 displays on the basic bitch M4? Absolute innovation.

Finally that means dual external displays on the MacBooks.

Not even an exaggeration, I feel physically ill just thinking about it.

99% of the time water in my water bottle and nothing else.

The 1% of the time it’s not its water nearby + coffee or a soda.

The concept of having more than 1 drink other than water is bewildering, and honestly disgusting to me.

Modern phone cameras are 99% software at this point. If you took one phones camera and put it onto another phone without adapting the software then the photos will look like ass.

You can’t just unplug something from device X and connect it to device Y. The connectors aren’t standardized. And even if they were they wouldn’t fit because the placement is different. In theory you could take the CPU off of one device and plant it onto another. But have fun with that BGA micro soldering. Plus the connections will be different unless you picked a phone with the exact same CPU. Ram is the only thing you could potentially upgrade. But like good luck.

You’d legitimately have an easier time making a new phone from scratch than trying to piece together 3 different phones.

If you need the money then start looking for jobs now, and quit when you’ve got something.

If it worked well it’s really nice. The problem is apps in the background tend to not update it as often as it should. So sometimes I’ll have a weather alert that’s 30 minutes old, along with a notification saying “please open the app for more updated info”.

If it’s a small buisness (10 people) the “business” is you.

Did you actually try looking this up. Turn it off in settings and it’s off forever until you turn it back on.

That’s assuming that they didn’t just keep the same number of frames, but something made it run at the full 30.0 FPS to get that speed. I’ve absolutely had software that fucked that up in the past.

You can always go the old school approach of doing it in your garage… Or whatever he’s technically in.

The size of the app doesn’t matter, it’s what the app does.

Say you managed to uninstall your only launcher. Getting a new one on there would be a pain, but is doable. But uninstalling the fucking massive DJI app? Nah that’s nothing.

You do realize that virtually every device with an arm processor also have soldered ram?

And has 1/10th the memory bandwidth.

In the US carriers have a lot of control over the software on phones bought through them (most of them). So you’d have to get the update verified and approved by them.

IMO that is one of the biggest issues with lemmy. If you make one post then potentially 1/3 of people see it. If you cross post it to all communities then lemmy shitty algorithm likes to put all 3 posts right next to each other and that gets annoying fast. Then if someone makes a comment on community As post, but you only picked Bs post then now you miss out.

Jan 6 was not a good one. And I fear there’s another coming with this next election.
