This is beautifully said. There had been moments in my life when I’d be so very happy that I would indeed close my eyes, take a deep breath and appreciate the moment. When there is nothing to bug you in the back of your mind to ruin the setting, such moments are beautiful and I agree, could be described as pure joy.

Thank you! I’ve also only had a few of these moments in my life. Last night I was laying in bed with my toddler. As he was drifting off to sleep, I closed my eyes and visualized a super cozy, quiet evening. I could hear his cute little breathing, and feel his warm little body against mine and when I opened my eyes I was exactly where I wanted to be. I am so grateful for my son.

Yeah! I’m trying to use words to describe the teleportation of consciousness from a typically negative headspace into a joyful one.

More like Augmented Reality. Where you put on a headset but it’s completely transparent and you are grateful there is nothing blocking your view.

Or in the case of Virtual Reality, you put on a headset and you see a pixel perfect recreation of the world right outside of your headset and it blows your mind. Because you have this instrument that is literally able to place you into any fantasy world and you realize that you are happy to stay exactly where you are.
