It pisses me of that these men and women have to hide and continue to live in fear and anxiety after giving so much to this country because a few fake christian self righteous snowflake zealots who never served a day in their useless lives have a personal problem that they cant come to terms with.
I was in for a long time (before and during the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell era) and was stationed with, and more importantly friends with quite a few mostly-secretly, semi-openly and a few “I’m gay and I fucking dare you to do anything about it” types and the only demographic (snowflakes) who seemed to have problems with it were/are the I woulda served but… (insert bullshit excuse here) “patriots”. I’ll take one gay vet over 100 super/false patriots any day.
