Caroline Ellison has been sentenced to two years in jail for her role in the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, which has been described as one of biggest financial frauds in US history.

Ellison was a top executive at the firm and is also the ex-girlfriend of its founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for stealing $8bn (£6.3bn) from customers.

As part of a plea deal, Ellison admitted charges including wire fraud and money laundering, and testified against Bankman-Fried.

It most definitely is, but I understand that. I haven’t personally defrauded people or tried to start a weird harem cult with a bunch of horned up crypto bros. I’m an asshole, yeah, and I understand that makes me undesirable. I just feel like morally, she’s shittier than I am

This could be one of the lamest attempts to bail one’s self out that I’ve ever seen.

And to think she was allegedly getting more play than I have my whole life. Bizarre

You should have just deleted your original comment, as you know exactly what dig you were making, and that it had absolutely nothing to do with differences in ethics.

Don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

      Idk hers is really bad.

The big thing is she found her people. Weird losers who were into a crypto securities crime polycule, but hey, that’s who she was and who she was interested in.
