Thought about posting this to lemmybewholesome, but thought it might not fit everyone’s definition.
I can relate to this
I think the cyber truck is a fascinating piece of antiart. It looks like something Homer Simpson would design.
I regularly see 2 on my commute. I wouldn’t exactly notice that I have a similar commute to other people, but a Cybertruck sticks out.
1 of them has been painted a matte black that looks like a chalkboard (good luck to them when the road salt comes out) and the other is the regular finish.
Either way, I’m always thinking about just how fucking dorky the things look compared to everything else on the highway.
And it’s not like they’re using it for anything cool. They’re both just stuck in the same traffic as the rest of us.
People like this are even more tragic than the Cybertruck owners themselves.
Lmao Iowa City might be the funniest place for someone to own a cybertruck
i see a giant target whenever i see one of those things.
like, if bad things started happening to cyber truck owners (who are obviously cowards like most big truck people - obsessed with their own safety), people would shun those things like the plague and musk would get his come uppance.
right now, it’s become the new culture war motif - another stupid thing for stupid people to defend.
Its also kind of the latest stupid thing for people to attack. Is it ugly, obnoxious and pretentious? Yes. But are you seriously suggesting that bad things should start happening to Cybertruck owners to keep people from driving them?
i think the right needs to be intimidated in general.
-I doubt many conservatives are buying cybertrucks. Much more so libertarians, rich nerds and crypto bros
-Even if they were right wing, intimidating/harassing/attacking someone for driving the wrong kind of EV is laughable and plays right into the narrative of the “intolerant left”
libertarians, rich nerds and crypto bros
like i said, the right.
I guess everyone’s a Nazi when you’re an edgy leftist
