      If this is true, it wasn’t an attack on Russia, it was an attack on European infrastructure inside the Economic Exclusive Area of two European countries, that saw their waters contaminated with methane because of it. The pipelines weren’t being used, and probably they weren’t going to be used again for… well, ever, so it wasn’t even a source of income for Russia.

      If these accusations are true, the attack only benefits Russia and everyone involved should be tried not only for the attack but for treason. In the case of Chervinsky I guess it’s more of adding it to his tab, since his hobby was apparently harming Ukraine by cosplaying as an Ukrainian James Bond.

        Water doesn’t get “contaminated by methane.” Quit clutching those pearls so hard, you’ll break them.

        I doubt these accusations are true because as you say it’s not something that really benefited Ukraine much, but if it does turn out to be the case then I’d just give a shrug on this one and let it slide. It’s reasonable to destroy Russian assets under these circumstances and no non-Russians were harmed in the process.
