    Not surprisingly, it didn’t gain much traction - I never got the impression Beths. was happy with FNV’s reception (good and bad).

    Getting absolutely humiliated by Obisidian’s spin off game being miles better than their mainline games couldn’t possibly have been the reason, right? /s

      It’s a bit wild how petty Bethesda comes off as. It’s like they’d rather spend a bunch of money to convince people their games are still good instead of, you know, trying to make good games.

      Maybe compared to the stuff that came after it.

      I wouldn’t describe FNV as being miles better than FO3. If anything I see just as many that prefer one as the other. And I don’t think they’re upset with the comparative success Skyrim has had.
